HIGHLIGHTS: Natchez CIVIL RIGHTS TOUR will explore the turbulent 60’s and the journey through Reconstruction, Jim Crow, and the Civil Rights era. Many of the strategies to achieve equality that would be replicated all over the south were developed right here in Natchez.

DURATION: 4-5 hours
HIGHLIGHTS: We will tour historic sites in Jefferson, Claiborne, and Adams Counties. See actual Civil War battle sites. Visit icons in Windsor Ruins, Rodney Ghost Town, Alcorn State University, Indian Mounds, and antebellum homes. Meander down old country gravel roads and see the Nolan Hill Low Water Bridge. We will have lunch at The Old Country Store.

TOUR TO YOU is a model that brings Revs Historical Narrative to your place. Rev will travel to your town and amazingly give you the experience of a deep dive into the history of the south. He has spoken at several universities, and local events, churches and schools. Rev is a speaker for the Mississippi Humanities Council. Humanities will help pay the fee for him to come to your town. This is a great opportunity to have deep, engaging, relevant discussions about how we can utilize the knowledge of the past to shape a more perfect future.
